compozy session continue

Continue a session with another agent, runtime, or declared route

Start a new session for another agent with the source conversation carried over as historical context. The source session is never changed. Re-running with the same --idempotency-key and arguments prints the recorded result instead of creating a second session.

compozy session continue <session-id> [flags]

Options

      --acp-option stringArray      ACP config option as id=value (repeatable)
      --agent string                Agent that continues the session (required)
      --expected-epoch int          Transcript epoch the source must still have
      --expected-generation int     Transcript generation the source must still have
      --expected-max-sequence int   Maximum event sequence the source must still have

      --idempotency-key string      Stable retry key (generated when omitted)
      --message string              First message for the new session
      --model string                Model for the new session's runtime
      --name string                 Name of the new session (defaults to the source title)
      --provider string             Provider for the new session's runtime
      --reasoning-effort string     Reasoning effort for the new session
      --route int                   1-based declared route of the agent's fallback_chain (excludes every runtime flag)
      --speed string                Speed for the new session (normal|fast)

      --json             Emit JSON output
  -o, --output string    Output format: human, json, jsonl, or toon (default "human")
      --profile string   Act as a profile for this command

Output Formats

The root -o, --output flag accepts these values. A renderer is supported only when this command writes that result; jsonl is for commands that emit one JSON record per line.
